REISEI’s WORLD of BEAUTIFUL MIND at WORLD ART DUBAI

I held REISEI’s WORLD of BEAUTIFUL MIND at WORLD ART DUBAI – the world’s largest art exhibition that is held in Dubai.

I performed the opening calligraphic performance to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the UAE’s Sheikh Zayed. I drew the art characters for the Japanese word of kaiki (good spirits).

I presented a folding fan with the art characters for the Japanese word of kaiki (good spirits) I had written on it by hand – the same as those of the calligraphy performance for the royal family of Dubai.

I held REISEI’S WORK SHOP. I deepened cultural exchanges between the Arab world and Japan by conveying the spirit of Zen and the beautiful culture of Japan.

Entrepreneurs from around the world in Dubai experienced the world of Japanese Zen, the culture of ink, the culture of Japanese painting and the joy of art.

It took approximately a year to produce the special order giant jikuso scroll mounting to suit the large venue.

The 10-meter characters of kaki (good spirits) were depicted on the wall of the venue while praying for auspicious feeling to brim over in the UAE to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sheikh Zayed who was the founder of the UAE.

RENCONTRE ARTISTIQUE MONACO-JAPON 2017 was held in Auditorium Rainier III.

There was a ribbon cutting ceremony to open the event by the UNESCO Official International Art Federation Principality of Monaco Committee and REIJINSHA under the sponsorship of the Agency for Cultural Affairs in the Principality of Monaco, the Embassy of Japan in Monaco and the Tourism Council for the Principality of Monaco.

This was a gorgeous international event to announce the spring in Monaco with the attendance of the Monaco royal family. It was widely covered by the Monaco-Matin and other media organizations. Many art fans gathered for the event in Monaco.

My AVALOKITESVARA OF SALVATION piece was awarded the Modeling Arts and Culture Prize by the Government of Monaco. The award ceremony was held with Alain Bazard of the French Artists Association.

This is a World Heritage Site in Slovenia. The mysterious Lake Bled is said to be home to Ziva – the beautiful goddess of love. It is a sacred place visited by many pilgrims from all over Europe.

This is banquet held in Slovenia to which the ambassadors of 15 countries around the world were invited to attend.

I unveiled a calligraphy performance at the banquet. After a successful bid for the piece was made at auction, I donated the proceeds from all my pieces to children with cancer who have lost their parents around the world.
